HELP !
If you are running into a problem with MAG-ic Probe, maybe the below will help you along.
Also, please be sure to read the user manual thoroughly as many issues can be solved by the manual. See the manuals in the Documents and Drivers page
1) Are you receiving an error on MAC computer when trying to install the MAG-ic Probe Software?
If you get this error when trying to install the software on a MAC computer
Apple would prefer all software is sold on their App store so they make it inconvenient for you.
Simply follow the below instructions -
In the Finder of your MAC, locate the MAG-ic Probe App. Don't use Launchpad to do this as Launchpad does not allow you to access the shortcut menu.
Control-Click the App icon, then choose OPEN from the shortcut menu.
click OPEN
The App is now saved as an exception in your security settings and you can open it in the future by Double-Clicking the app icon just as you would any other app.
2) Are you receiving an error in Windows when trying to install the MAG-ic Probe Software?
If you receive the above error in Windows saying Windows Defender protected your PC, click on the More info line.
Then click on Run anyway and the program should run and install as normal.
3) When trying to install MAG-ic Probe Software on a Windows PC, do you encounter an error that says VCRUNTIME140.dll and MSVCP140.dll are missing?
This means that your Windows OS is missing a component or it needs to be updated.
You can install the 2 packages linked in this thread from Microsoft support. After installing, restart your computer and try installing the software again.
